We’re Sonia and Reon, and we were delighted to take over Shadow Estate in the spring of 2025. Caring for dogs isn’t just our work — it’s something we genuinely love and feel proud to do every day.

Our Approach

We believe dogs thrive on calm routines, gentle care, and familiar faces. With only a small number of guests at any one time, we’re able to give every dog the individual attention they deserve.

Most dogs settle in within a day or two, quickly becoming comfortable with our daily rhythm of play, rest, and affection.

Meet Sonia & Reon

Sonia and Reon are the proud owners of Shadow Estate Luxury Pet Resort. Taking over the property in 2025 allowed them to fulfil a long-held dream: creating a safe, loving, high-quality retreat for every dog who visits.

With a professional background in Neonatal Intensive Care, Sonia brings a gentle, detail-focused approach to each guest’s wellbeing. Reon adds warmth, playfulness, and the famous nightly belly rubs that many guests now consider part of their holiday routine.

Together, they are dedicated to providing a calm, nurturing environment where dogs feel secure, settle quickly, and truly enjoy their time away from home.
